Building a New MASB Brand and Culture
Your association is undergoing exceptional transformations that will better prepare us to embrace change in order to advance our mission to improve education through board development and advocacy. One of the driving forces behind MASB's transformation is the recognition that the knowledge, talent and skills needed to operate in today's education environment are different, and require a different approach for success. Board members, administrators and teachers may not appear to understand or recognize this major difference, yet it's the one significant contributor to the future structure of education. If we don't adapt to this change, public schools as we know them will cease to exist. This transformation is a work in progress, change will not happen overnight. As we embark on this journey together, remember that MASB is your association. As such, we are here to answer any questions or concerns that you may have. Together we can LeadStrong Our Shared Vision - MASB is a catalyst to improve student achievement in all districts.

Building a new culture at MASB MASB had identified five characteristics by which it would like to be defined. These characteristics represent what we want to be as an association, and what we seek to deliver to our members. MASB's Brand Story This idea map represents where public education was, where it is today and where it's going to be tomorrow. MASB seeks to serve as the bridge that helps carry board members across this transition.
