Superintendents are encouraged to attend.

The Winter Institute is appropriate for school board members of all experience levels and school superintendents seeking to collaborate with school board members.

Building Great School Board/Superintendent Teams: A Systematic Approach to Balancing Roles and Responsibilities

To address urgent challenges and drive continuous improvement effectively, school board members, superintendents and school leaders must develop strong school board/superintendent teams. Come learn more about establishing a unified school leadership team that can efficiently meet demands, avoid conflict and respond to the ever-changing educational environment.

The School Finance Research Collaborative set out to collect accurate information on what it truly costs to educate Michigan’s students and how the state can better serve all students—regardless of their location, circumstances or challenges. Join the conveners of the study, community leaders and industry experts in this session for analysis of the findings as well as next steps to move forward.
