Brad Banasik, J.D.

Brad grew up in Watervliet, Mich. and is a 1993 graduate of Western Michigan University with a degree in Education, majoring in History. He taught in the Berrien County Intermediate School District before receiving a Juris Doctor degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and admittance to the Michigan Bar in 1997.

Brad has been with MASB since May 1997; serving as Assistant Director of Policy Services until promoted to the position of Legal Counsel in September 1999. In 2009, he was appointed as Director of MASB’s Labor Relations Department in addition to his Legal Counsel position. And, he is program manager and secretary for the Michigan Council of School Attorneys.

Brad has also taught School Law graduate courses as an adjunct professor in Michigan State University’s College of Education and WMU’s Educational Leadership program.

Daniel Feinberg, J.D.

Labor Relations and Legal Services

Dan grew up in Kalamazoo, Mich. He attended Michigan State University, graduating in 1997 with two bachelor's degrees—International Relations through the James Madison College and Advertising from the School of Communication Arts and Sciences. Prior to receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Michigan State University (Dan bleeds green), he worked in public affairs and government.

Since attaining his law degree and being admitted to the bar in 2006, Dan continued working in public affairs and government in multiple capacities. Prior to joining MASB, he served as a policy advisor in the Michigan House of Representatives handling education issues.
